Pour Up with these Celebrities who Own Tequila Brands

There’s a new angle to the long-held debate of who is the G.O.A.T.— LeBron James or Michael Jordan. Fans and haters of both legendary athletes have vehemently argued about everything from their stats on the court to who has the best sneakers to which one has delivered the better Space Jam. Now folks can offer their opinions on which baller has delivered the best tequila. Next month, MJ’s Cincoro Tequila and Bron’s Lobos 1707 Tequila will go up against each other for the title of “Best Tequila Reposado.” Unlike with most of the other debates that involve Jordan and LeBron, these two aren’t the only ones competing for the top spot in the tequila game. There are several other celebrities who own tequila brands that are aiming to be the people’s champ.

Tequila is one of the most popular spirits in the world, so there’s no surprise that its popularity has caught the attention of celebrity investors and entrepreneurs. While some celebrities have simply lent their names to a tequila brand, others have been so heavily involved in the production process that they’ve collaborated with the distillers to create unique flavor profiles. It’s easy to assume that as the popularity of tequila continues to grow, more and more celebrities will get involved in the tequila business. She of course announced the launch of 818 on social media, with a post that featured her posing with a bottle of the drink. “So happy to finally share this with you all!” she wrote. Although the launch of the brand was met with controversy, the tequila has received solid reviews.

The British entertainer said that part of why she decided to take a stake in the handcrafted spirit that features Mexican and European influences was working with Stella Anguiano. Anguiano created Próspero and is one of the first female tequila distillers. “Stella and her team are incredibly passionate about what they do and have given me the chance to collaborate on a project that celebrates all women,” said the “Hot Right Now” singer.

TikTok does it again! The popular social networking platform has helped catapult another song to the top of the Billboard charts. After a snippet of Jack Harlow’s latest single, “First Class” trended on TikTok, the full version upon its official release (April 8th) debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100.

The second single from his upcoming album, Come Home the Kids Miss You has been making noise outside of Tiktok also. With more than 10.6 million streams in the first 24 hours of its release, the single that samples Fergie’s Ludacris-assisted No. 1 hit “Glamorous” had one of the biggest single-day streams of the year on Spotify’s global chart. Currently the fastest selling single of 2022, the Louisville, Kentucky native’s latest hit moved more than 420,000 units in its opening week.

In the history of the Billboard Hot 100, there have been 17 hip-hop songs that have debuted on top of the chart. These songs represent some of the biggest hits in hip-hop history. DJ Khaled is One of 11 Hip-Hop Artists With Stars on the Hollywood Walk of Fame

Hollywood’s Walk of Fame features a who’s who of the entertainment industry, highlighting some of the biggest names in film, television, music, and even radio. Iconic actors, actresses, and pop stars normally come to mind when people think of celebrities with stars on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. However, that doesn’t mean that there aren’t a number of hip-hop artists who have also received this honor. Over the course of the nearly 50 years since the birth of hip-hop, several influential hip-hop artists have received their own star on the coveted Walk of Fame. 

DJ Khaled is the latest hip-hop act to receive a star on the Walk of Fame. The Grammy Award-winning producer, record executive, author, motivational speaker, and DJ has been a game-changer and hit-maker in the music industry for more than 20 years. His albums and anthems have topped the charts, while his cloth talks have gone viral.
